A research Report on Youth Civic Engagement in Anti-Racism

This research was funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage, Multiculturalism Program for the period 2005-2008. Issues explored in this study emerged out of previous work with youth in the City of Hamilton, Ontario, in a project aptly titled Ontario Partners Against Racism (OnPar). The OnPar initiative began as part of a larger strategy following post 9/11 events which unfolded in the small city of Hamilton, Ontario, significantly threatening the security of citizens.
